Great food and drinks, burgers + & awesome range of beers and other drinks. Friendly staff. They have a rewards program, it's easy to earn points but redeeming isn't as forthcoming. But if you ask they'll do it. You can buy their cans there too but they're about $10 or so a pop. Anyway would go back, live music and good vibes. Although there was a big group for a bucks or something and they took over inside and made a ruckus. We just moved outside.

First rate. Good and wide variety of beers plus wine & bubbles, Good food, live music and great staff. Very relaxed environment, great fun, will keep coming back !

Overage beer, shitty fries and also they don't accept cash.A lot of IPAs as we are sailing to bloody India.The only good thing is a bit of sunlight in the arvo.

Went here on Father’s Day with family, only to find that their food truck was ‘overrun’ and they won’t be taking any more orders for the next 30 minutes. I waited in line for ages. It’s Father’s Day, they should have prepared for it to be busy.Very disappointed

Dad and dave brewing is absolutely an amazing place. We are a company that washes their cars, The way they were so hospitable was amazing. I was happy to pay for a burger and the drinks that I drank today but they gave them to me for free due to washing and creating a service for them. These guys are amazing Taking the daughter and the wife tonight. Always support those who support you.

Absolutely loved it here. The staff went the extra mile to cater for my taste preferences. The hosted a fun Quiz night on Thursday, and bonus points for dogs being allowed.

This is by far the best small business Lager in the country hands down. After my pallet was assaulted by the utter disgrace that was 'Bucketys Lager' this is a refreshing change.The staff are so friendly and engaging, with a warm welcoming environment to boot. The food truck is epic, you really have me tied with my other local favourite Nomads. Never been happier to return again and again. Keep up the great work and support local business!

We had my 60th birthday celebrations at Dad & Dave's. There were 25 of us and as it was a Saturday night we pre-booked. We had reserved tables, and Joel (the bar manager) gave us "poker chips" on arrival that our guests could use to redeem for food (the fabulous burgers!), which we paid for later. Joel and his staff were super attentive and made us feel really welcome and looked after. I'd thoroughly recommend Dad & Dave's for evets like ours.

Dave and the team offer a good quality beer with a burger truck. It's comfortable and has some outdoor tables with shade.

We organised an event for about 60 men in our church. Dave (co-founder and owner) graciously offered to talk to our group about brewing and the business of brewing. We then settled down to some fantastic food and beer. There was live music and the service was friendly. A wonderful way to spend a few hours on a very rainy Saturday. We'll come again.

What a great place to make the most of a wet Saturday afternoon! One of the best burgers I've ever had combined with some great beer. Really interesting range of beers - loved sampling a few of them :-). I was part of a large group that I organised for the afternoon - Joel (manager) couldn't have been easier to work with. Will certainly be back.

Visited after watching roller derby. There was a wide selection of alcoholic drinks (I loved the hard pink lemonade), the food was good (especially the popcorn chicken) and the live music created a nice atmosphere.The main thing that I think could be improved is sturdier furniture or weights on the furniture outside, it felt like a see saw whenever someone moved.

I have been here a fair few times. I’m not a big drinker but they do their own beer as well as spirits. I’ve also bought some tasty & sometimes unusual premix cans as take aways. It’s nice to try different stuff. Pretty easy going place for a drink. The staff are always friendly. A few times when I’ve been they had live music and it wasn’t a covers band so I was pretty stoked about that.

Warm, Friendly & RealThere’s more craft brewing in Brookvale than any other suburb in Australia. So to say you’ve got choice is an understatement.Dad & Dave’s has a Goldilocks mix. It does all the basics well. Plenty of choice wherever you look. What it does do well is service with a smile.Knowing I was the delegated driver and offering me an alcohol free beer to help was a nice touch.I found the team (dressed in black and looking like Johnny Cash) to be friendly and chatty. I enjoyed the laugh with them, too. That’s what a brewery should be all about. Making people feel welcomed and providing the environment that says it.

Nice little brewery brew pub with a good variety of beer styles on tap. Belgium IPA was very good with a nice balance of flavors. Citra and mosaic IPA was nice, not enough IBUs for my taste. "Best burger" was good, but not the best in my opinion. Popcorn chicken was very good and so was the buffalo cauliflower bites. Beers were on the expensive side. Worth a visit if you love beer.

Decent setup with typical brewery vibes. Great live musician on Sundays. A few good beers on offer including a mid strength Aussie Lager which should see you through while you stay to listen to the music. Food truck on site too, with a sign that says 'Voted best burger in Australia'. I didn't try it but it smelled great.
