A FEW WORDS ABOUT US
Our Story
We are Georgia and Dan, locals from Narrabeen, we consider ourselves very fortunate to have been born and raised in the beautiful Northern Beaches.
During the global COVID-19 pandemic that dominated 2020, we witnessed all aspects of life being altered with a large impact on the food industry. Local restaurants suffered greatly, with some forced to close their doors. We founded Dinner Mate to bring new life to these struggling businesses and restore them to their original immersive dining experience.
The Beginning
We originally developed this idea with a few drinks in hand, and I’m sure most of you can relate to this being the height of your creativity. As the night progressed, our idea evolved quickly and the next step was to put it into action. Despite lacking prior experience or qualifications in this area we set to work.
First step: Unknown??
We very slowly moved forward with months of little progress and days with a few arguments. After relentless hours of research, and the feeling of no progress forward, we slowly solidified our ideas that we feel have evolved into a great business and we hope you think so too.
