As a person who enjoys Indian cooking, compliments to the kitchen staff for preparing my favourite dish ( Lamb Saagwala) to perfection. The Garlic Naan was delicious as well. To the floor staff assisting, thank you for making it an enjoyable outing

This place did not disappoint! Having recently moved to the area, we've driven past many times and wanted to try it.The decor is absolutely beautiful, and the staff very warm and welcoming. The food was fantastic - we had the chicken tikka masala and mango chicken which were great, and their peshwari naan bread was delicious.The food is filled with flavour and love, and the whole experience was a real joy as it's not that often you find a traditional Indian restaurant with great food, friendly service, a warm relaxed ambience and good cocktails. We loved it, and look forward to going back.

Zero star for service at this restaurant. Booked a Group for 13 for a Diwali celebration at 6 PM. Did not receive our main meal until 8:45. No service at all we cleaned our own table of entree Dishes. And empty glasses. Ordered drink at the bar for our guests. My 84 year mother in law was falling at the table ! A Diwali celebration from hell. Bad management, understaffed and really would care. less for the customer.

We love The Grand Palace at Mona Vale! The food is excellent - best Indian we've had in Australia since emigrating from London 14 years ago! A great night out and the quality of the food is excellent for take away too.

Honestly some of the best Indian food in Sydney - they don’t hold back on flavour at all. What stood out to me were the massive portion sizes, which places it a cut above many other Indian restaurants which will charge more for smaller servings. We’ve been to many Indian restaurants all across Sydney and for me they have the best biryani and garlic naan. Their butter chicken is also a standout and super sweet and smoky. There are LOTS of vegetarian/vegan options!Service was fast and friendly, food came out piping hot and our waiters even explained the origin of the dishes to us.There’s a bit of side street parking next to the restaurant but can be competitive. Definitely a great venue for family gatherings, work parties and a great dinner place for anyone you want to impress!

Absolutely loved the food! The flavors were authentic, and the spices were perfectly balanced. The staff was friendly and attentive, making our dining experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious Indian cuisine!

We had a fabulous night at The Grand Palace. The food was outstanding, a variety of interesting Indian dishes that were all so delicious. Wonderful, friendly service and beautiful decor. Highly recommend. We will be back!

We had dinner here on a Wednesday night, and it was a great experience! The staff, especially Sandesh, was super friendly and made us feel really welcome. The chicken tikka masala and naan were absolutely delicious, and while the biryani was okay. We still really enjoyed the meal overall. Definitely planning to come back, especially for the warm service and tasty food.

Amazing food at great prices, and such traditional and lovely decor, definitely lives up to the name with a grand, Royal Indian vibe. The service was top notch with free snacks and amazing staff! Also great live music!

Had a lovely birthday celebration today.Perfect place for 15 of us aged from 16-95 years.Great food catering for vegetarians and meat eaters in the crowd, for those who want spicy and those who don’t!Thank you for making the day special for all. Very welcoming place.

This was just a wonderful find! Recommended by a friend, it surpassed expectations from the moment we walked in. The decor transports you to the Grand Palaces of Rajistan, with sumptuous wall papers, mirrors, chandeliers and inlaid mosaic tables. The food & wine was of exceptional standard. Beautiful pastry on the samosas, great chicken tikka, and fabulous vegetarian/vegan options. All the staff were very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back. A real gem!

Everything about this place was fantastic, right down to the decor. Vege samosas in fluffy pastry and I’ve never had such a tasty Chicken Tikka Masala. My wife is vegan and they catered for her with an extensive vegetarian menu. Staff were friendly. A hidden treasure here on the Northern Beaches. Will definitely return. So thankful for the recommendation.

Driven past many times. Decided to try it for takeaway. Food was really disappointing. I don't think i even got the korma I ordered as it was a tomato flavour and red in colour. The butter chicken wasn't buttery and again too tomatoe-y. Also the lamb korma was noticeably not full like the other meal. For $80+ for 2 meals, 2 sides and rice I will not be back! Also naan was an oily pancake. Not bread.

Have eaten here many times, it seems to have improved a lot over the last few months.Delicious food all round, but particularly the butter chicken! A piece of chicken sliced in the butter chicken sauce, rather than bits. Service is lovely. Would recommend

What a beautiful dinner we had tonight! The service was spot on, the dishes we had were all tasty and unique and beautifully presented. We don’t usually get desserts but had the kids with us and tried a few. Yum! We will be back. Tried this place under the previous management and have to say if you haven’t tried it recently you need to come back, it’s so much better now.

We recently came here with our 2 daughters. The food was beautiful, however what really stood out was the service provided. The staff could not have been nicer, even giving our baby some toys to play with while we ate. There was a singer playing in the background who was brilliant and very friendly. This was our first time visiting and it most certainly won’t be our last.

Delicious, authentic food (beautiful spices), attentive service, beautiful Indian decor, cosy atmosphere! One of the best Indian foods I have ever eaten! It’s wheelchair accessible and child friendly. A fantastic restaurant with reasonable prices. Highly recommended and not to be missed!

Myself and 25 of my friends gathered to celebrate my birthday at TGP in their outdoor function space and all of us enjoyed our evening. The food was SENSATIONAL, Every dietary requirement was met with taste, texture and quality. The atmosphere was so much fun, the staff were beyond lovely and genuinely helpful and SO KIND! This is the place you want to be at for parties, dinner with your family, go to takeaway… The cleanliness of the place is also a big highlight. We will be back very soon and very often.ps - we all enjoyed our time so much I didn’t get many photos and phones stayed in bags!!Thankyou TGP for having us 💕 A night to remember xx

Service is great but food is not good at all. First time we had a bad experience but we gave a another try but still the food is not good. We ordered chicken curry which was alright but both time goat curry was uncooked and rubbery. Atmosphere is great. Owner is great person no doubt but we pay for food.

Absolutely LOVE The Grand Palace Mona Vale. Best Indian food in the Northern Beaches!Friendly service makes you feel at home, amazing food and wonderful atmosphere!The vegetarian options are fantastic and the lunch special is a perfect blend of everything you could want and very affordable.We go every couple of weeks and has been totally consistent. Try it, you won’t be disappointed!

I have visited this place for dinner on a special day to celebrate my wife’s birthday. One of the best decisions which I’ve made. The food is just out of this world. The chef did a fantastic job in maintaining the authenticity of the dishes. Everything about the food was just perfect - spice, aroma, quantity and texture. The guy at the reception is very knowledgeable too as he had recommended the dishes and I absolutely have no qualms or regrets. An evening well spent, all thanks to the staff over there.My personal favourite: Tandoori chickenPlease maintain the quality as I have already recommended couple of my friends to visit the restaurant. My husband never raves about food but when he told me he had a fantastic lunch here I had to try it. I just had the best naan bread I've ever had! All the food was fresh and delicious and the service was prompt and courteous, I'll definitely be going back again.

Recently we dined here to try Indian delicacies and we were thoroughly impressed by the flavours. The beautiful restaurant has a vibrant, colourful decor with warm & inviting ambiance. We set in their beautiful outdoor area and started with Wine and their specialty appetisers like School Prawns & Onion Bhaja. Main course included famous butter chicken. Overall, the dinning experience was exceptional, with delicious food, attentive service and a cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend this Indian restaurant for authentic and satisfying dining experience.

Finally found my perfect Indian food in Sydney at @tpg.thegrandpalace ✨This fine dining experience was one of a kind – delicious, authentic Indian dishes bursting with flavour and spice. The ambiance in the restaurant itself is unmatched, with royal décor (think palace chairs and crystal chandeliers). The staff are so friendly and helped us choose some of the best dishes I’ve got to try yet.🦀 Goan Crab Shak Shak: Mud crabs cooked with Chef’s secret Goan spices - My favourite dish along with the lobster, these were so fun to crack into and bite into a mouthful of delicious, saucy flavour. I love crab because you can get messy with it, and the meat was very generous/rewarding in these mudcrabs.🦞 Southern Rock Masala Lobster: fresh lobster marinated and cooked with Chef’s secret spices – My favourite for taste, the lobster flavour is there without being fishy. This was Sam’s favourite for a reason, the garnishes were refreshing and the lobster bites themselves were incredibly tasty.🫓 Cheesey Garlic Naan: bread stuffed with cheese and topped with garlic – This naan was so delicious, we ended up having to order two servings. If you don’t feel like the rice, this is a perfect palette cleanser between curry bites and the garlic/cheese flavours is one of my favourites.🐟 Goan Fish Curry: barramundi fish cooked with Kokum (Garcinia Indica) and coconut milk – Think crispy and flaky fish sitting in a pool of delicious, creamy sauce. The perfect combination of flavours.🍖 Chef’s Special Lamb Curry: lamb shanks marinated overnight with Chef’s selected special spices and herbs, slowly cooked to preserve the flavour. Served with baby young potatoes – Like the crab, super fun to get messy with. The meat had the perfect amount of fattiness, I love slow cooked meat like this as it fell right off the bone.After all this – I was surprised that I didn’t feel heavy or bloated from all of the spice/sauces – however with this fine dining menu I found everything was quite light and we easily managed to finish everything. The portions were good, flavour on point and definitely somewhere I very much look forward to visiting again. @ahungryhalfie
